    Final transfers

Solano goes and James Milner is in from Newcastle I hear. He didnt do much there last season but DOL knows him from his time at Leeds, James Milner was in the leeds youth squad so maybe DOL knows this guy has potential, hope so.

    • Solano is getting a bit old now - and he clearly wanted to go.

I dunno much about Milner, I don't really like loan signings between teams in the same league anyway. It would only make sense if Villa have an option to buy.

    • So we lose a quality player and get james milner in return. Is it just me or does any one else think we got the worst of the deal?

      • Milner looks hot future property, he could be worth every penny of the 3 million pound asking price, I hear nothing but good about him, if he really is worth twice as much as Nobby Solano's We should somehow scrape the cash together for the transfere window, Who do you sell if we cant afford to buy I wonder?

      • Solano wanted to leave, emptied his locker, at the training ground, you cat keep people if they dont want to play for us, his heart wouldnt be in it, We do have an option to buy James Milner for 3 mill, but O'leary want's to make sure he is as good as he was or still could be, makes perfect sense, Bakke is still quality, again his fitness needs to be tested, so a loan is the best option, Bouma is a class signing anyone who watched PSV play in the champs league will know this, I for one am hapy with the players n our squad has a great look to it very balanced with a touch of class in there as well. Stop moaning guys and get behind the players.
