    • 22 Police injured in total danny. and 4 police cars damaged. Was a bit like watching a return to the 80's , (those old enough to remember).

Its not as though that wasnt predictable, same thing happened in Rocky Lane in 2002, Lichfield Road and cookoo bridge, 2004.Will happen again in the return,

Children will always play, no matter who takes the toys off them.

    • Well said!...."Only the most moronic and socially unsuitable would be 'proud' of that kind of behaviour". And that goes for both sides of the city!

I've just heard on the radio that 20 police were injured too! I'm not taking my kids to see these idiots playing at being 'men'. Don't make me laugh...just little boys in men's bodies. Clearly base instincts are at play.

    • 3 derby wins in a row now - Villa really made harder work of that victory than they could have against not great Blues team! NRC with a glaring miss after being gifted an easy strike by an excellent Barry, among other chances we really should have converted. It was a fairly even game in some ways, but in terms of quality on the ball, passing and creativity, it was Villa all the way!

On the no penalty/booking from the refs angle it didn't actually look like Laursen touched him, and it serves De Ridiculous right for doing that stupid uneccessarily theatrical fall, as he was barely even clipped. Bruce is the most whinging, whiney manager going.

It was unforunate with those Blues fans showing their neanderthal ways with how they reacted to the inevitable loss. Idiots giving football and real fans a bad game. Only the most moronic and socially unsuitable would be 'proud' of that kind of behaviour. We are not Italians after all.

Villa showing yet again why we are the Midlands' No. 1 club and the pride of the Midlands. 3 points off a champions league spot - I know making the top 4 is unlikely, but Europe is something we are challenging for this season!

      UTV - thanks boys.

    • Yea yea, ok barney, looks like Im standing the round then....what is it then, glass of orange juice. ? You know we dow drink now don't you?

Course I'll get em in. what is it and where?

    • Hello Nigel ( and Lulu) I just knew all the time that you still used the reverse logic and that you were spot on 1-2 to Villa you're a good bloke NIgel very fair in predicting our win.

Just which nick do I go to for my pints?

    • Yea mate, course we will, Derby are doing their version of a kamikazi pilot booking his summer holiday. Bolton are clueless, as are Wigan, Fulham are suckers against anyone that fights back, and Newcastle are just cr*p, (thats personal though) . Sunderland could collapse but theyve got roy Keane and i cant see him allowing any team not to have fight and spirit,,,nar mate, there are worse than us in the prem...

    • well done vile you took you chances and you won but 1 thing i have a issue with is the de-ridder no penalty/booking incident????? bennett yet again....lucky boys you were again.. just a quick one a mate of mine who is a villa fan got refused entry to villa park be cause of his religon..he is jewish ....aparently you still have to be a full pri*k to get into villa park...KEEP RIGHT ON..BLUE NOSE TILL I DUE A STILL PROUD

    • Well Lulu....I won't be contacting the samaritans tonight, as you envisaged. I suspect that you may have known deep down that you would, hence you found the website.

Well done Nige for your level-headed response to the defeat. In truth, we all know it could have gone either way. Today was our day but it all evens itself out in time. No gloating from me...just quiet satisfaction.

    • Yes, his is name is LIAM RIDGEWELL

Cheers for buying him. Shame though, he nearly scored, and then allowed Gabby to score

      Let the boards be ignited.......

      • Ermmm. Just got back from the game and as usual I shall be magnamonous in defeat, However, certain things about the game I am unhappy about, such as the referee being an extra Villa player. Anything further, (like the der Ridder "penalty" booking incident I shall wait till I have seen the game again on TV before making any further comment which is only fair. Using my own logic that "it is better to be thought a fool, than to open my mouth and put it beyond any reasonable doubt".

One thing though, and I direct this at Mark.......

I noticed you posted your post 8 minutes after the game finished. Perhaps you have a logical explaination for that. like you took you laptop to the game, or is it as I suspect...you took your armchair to the game???

Only joking. I understand that the ridiculas figure of £45 for a ticket for you boys isn't realistic, in these days where a certain player who will remain nameless but play's for City, gets £100,000 PER GAME!!!!

        More later boys

        UTC as usual.

      • Another own goal from a Villa player .............BUT THIS TIME HE DOESN'T PLAY FOR US ANYMORE.

Strange the way things work out.

    • Fantastic thanks Lulu I'll save you a seat
