    What a let down

Once again we have matches in hand and throw away points against what should for us be regarded as sub-standard opposition. In fact we have to consider ourselves very lucky to have even got a point today.

Villa have been like that for as long as I can remember and it really p***es me off. When I saw the fixtures I said to myself we'd draw at Stoke, lose to Wolves and beat Chelsea. Let's just hope I got the last one right.

Meanwhile Spurs go to Stoke and show us how it's done. We're a better team than Spurs but there's something lacking. No killer instinct or something. I don't know.

A win today and we'd have looked good in the table. Now we look like we can't be arsed. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

    • The problem with Heskey is that he believed MoN's hype years ago when he was at Leicester.....he told him he was a good player and Heskey took it literally......perhaps everyone else is wrong. Just imagine a forward line led by Jerome and Heskey. No goalkeeper needed,by the opposition, just a ball boy fit enough to run up and down the terraces all afternoon (are they still called terraces?) retrieving the ball.

    • tilton, you ungrateful sod. this is a different heskey. this is
don,k,eyheskey, an england center forward of international renown that you are being offered. cheap too, how many "internationals can you buy for 30 quid.

sorry mate still ratted from free bar at closing party last night lol

    • indeed, another dissapointing venture against lower opposition.
that is not knocking wolves, just stating the facts, we were indeed lucky today. we are imho now looking at a sixth place finish. if we make a second cup final we may even have to decide to give that up to rest the team.
it has been a good season but we do seem a little way off killing these games and picking up the "easier" points.

      villa 'til i die.
