    Norwich Cathedral

It's not a patch on ours up Durham here but still very beautiful. Quaint Anglian city is Norwich, cosy little football ground, but team can be a bit suspect at home.

    • Gotta Job! Need to earn a little extra! You know, the three K`s?
Kids, Kar & Kristmas! Will certainly try to fit in some serious posting time though! Good to see that Leeds isn`t losing the ones that we could/would have at the biggining of the season!

    • Indeed. 5 weeks ago we would have lost that one by 3 goals, things are improving. Its just a worry that we could lose O'Brien and McArtney within the next few weeks. We will find out how much KB is supporting the club.

    • Well I've got man-flu!
Anyway, half decent result and it seems like we were poor in the second half even though their goal should have been disallowed.
May this run continue till the end of the season.

    • B4ts, before this match I would have been happy to take a draw but as Leeds controlled the game I can only see it as two lost points.
Martin's foul on Schmeichel that got Norwich the equaliser was yet another example of officials shafting Leeds.
However, I think we didn't win because we couldn't put the game to bed in the first half and ran out of ideas in the second.
All that was needed was for the ball to be put in the net. We had the opportunities but our final ball was always poor. Then what do you expect from midfield players and a striker who is basically a hold-up man? They are not natural goal scorers. Meanwhile, we had Somma, McCormack, and Paynter sitting on the bench. WTF!
To me it feels more like we lost this match.

    • Yes, it will make getting it wrong taste better!

    • Send me a piece in the mail, it will fit through my letter box !
A good point away from home and one that we would have settled for if games were decided that way. I was looking at the statistics and it was even with goal shots on target and Leeds just shading it with shots off target. The percentage of possession went to Leeds which is unusual. I find it strange that the MSN score centre shows Norwich "in control of the match" for much of the time, I think it just goes to show that the "person" compiling the match report is not unbiased.

    • Anyone fancy sharing an Octopus pasta with me.

    • Well, just put my Jack Daniels down, and staring at it deep in thought and half pissed. But Norwich will need to buck their ideas up because look at their last 7 games. 4 draws, 2 defeats and one win, and that was against piss poor Boro.
You guys are finding your feet reasonably and I can't see you getting beat. They're in a sort of decline despite their decent squad and liable to snap out of it. But---I've just put this Octopus back in the bucket and me and him have gone for a 2-1 away victory.

    • For anyone who likes Norman architecture, Norwich cathedral is a rewarding visit... I'm just hoping our visit to Carrow Road is rewarding!

      • It is going to be tough on Saturday you better believe it!
They proved to be a better team than us last year, and with our still dodgy defence, we will have to play really well to get anything.
Looks like Johnson has been tapped up and I for one won't miss him, although I may live to regret my words.
Time to let Clayton prove his worth methinks, although they will probably want to showcase Johnson so who knows.
I'm still making no predictions as results keep going our way when I don't interfere.

    • Hope they are very suspect !
