    happy days?

So the last 24 hours has brought us 4 new signings, and also an extra bit of cash due to the high court ruling that West Yorkshire Police force have "over charged" us for policing home games over the past 3 seasons. Its a tricky one this, we have the most banning orders and more fans who like a tear up than most clubs, so we need the police to keep order especially when the likes of Millwall and Cardiff come to town, but the club argued that they should not pay for policing outside the vicinity of the ground, and the high court judge ruled in our favour. It will be interesting to see how WYP respond to this ruling.
I wonder if Colin will be given this extra cash to boost the transfer kitty? Looking at the players he has brought in we are starting to get a squad that looks strong enough to push for promotion, although we still need another 4-5 players just to make sure. If he gets in Peltier at RB and if the rumours are true about Nicky Maynrad then it really will be happy days.
With the takeover seemingly taking forever, but Coling signing players for fun, maybe this takeover has already been done and they are delaying announcing it so that we dont pay over the odds for the players we are after? Just a thought because KB would not be sanctioning this kind of spending especially if he was selling up. MOT

    • Jez,Bates will be taking the Police money along with Snoddy's and the Ross moneyif he goes, this will all be part of the sales process so he keeps the lot, on the plus side the new owners want to redevelop all of Elland Road and the surrounding areas so if true great! BATES OUT!
