    Burnley vs WBA

I have been watching West Bromwich ALbion for 40 years this year. When I first began to watch them they were never going to be world beaters but they had spirit.
Tonight they have embarrassed be again and for the last time.
I am going to Coventry next week but, if WBA do not win, I am never spending another penny of my money or another ounce of my life on them.
I would suggest that, until every supporter removes their support and cash, WBA will never give anything, not even commitment back to their fans and I am no longer prepared to be part of this degradation on the basis of long-term support.

    • Take a breather!!!!

      It's not that bad.

      1st Goal = Offside + Horrific Goalkeeping

2nd Goal = Koren bottled it

3rd Goal = Off the guys shoulder

Add in the farcical sending off and we've been unlucky tonight. We'll make the playoff's and triumph at Wembley. (Mcshane promised me v Stoke!!)

      • I have no issue with the luck element of Burnley's goals, however there is an old saying that the harder you work the luckier you get!
Burnley were certainly lucky, however the same could be said for our first goal which definitely hit Ellington's arm and could have been dissalowed.
Yesterday at Coventry; our goal was scrappy and we showed very little commitment especially in one or two areas. Kamara is more interested in personal glory than that of the team. He would rather lose the ball (or fall over) than pass, even if team mates are in a far better position to score that he is.
I never thought I would say this, but his ban may be a blessing for us.
I never, ever thought I would say this, but we may be better with Phillips playing alongside Ellington!
Tsnk God for Robbo and McShane!!!!!

    • I have supported Albion for 12 years of my 15 year life, and had a season ticket for the past five. And how do they repay us? With a performance like that. Please can someone tell me what Chaplow brings to the team? Everytime he got the ball he gave it away within 10 seconds. Yes, we were unlucky with the sending off, but we still should not have lost that game.
When we got promoted in 01-02 and 03-04, we did not play fancy football. We did not have players who thought they were bigger than the club. We had players like Derek McInnes and Larus Siggurdson who gave 110% every week and played with their heart on their sleeve. I didn't see a glimpse of that grit or guile from most of team tonight.
If we are "fortunate" enough to get in the playoffs, God help the players when they play against quality oppostion, unlike a struggling tem like Burnley.
It is typical of Albion to throw away a 2-0 lead. It takes a special king of #$%$ to do that.

      • I'm the same as the other bloke on here,I've been watching the Baggies for 40 years now and even including when we went down to the lower end of the league....not so long ago! I've never seen such lack of commitment on the pitch from certain players! I agree with David James recent comments about players getting performance related pay,if that were so for our lot right now they would owe the club a lot of money!!
It's time for Peace to go after this season as his leadership is taking us nowhere if not downwards and after that I would put Mowbray on probation,if the results and performances did not improve within 3 months he'd be looking for a new job!
