    Harry Redknapp is a **$%

Firstly, let me make one thing clear, I support neither Portsmouth or Southampton.

But I have to comment on the soap opera that is Harry Redknapp. This morning he quits Southampton obviously to re-join Portsmouth.

Does this man have no integrity? Does he have no respect for rivalry between two highly charged sets of fans? What on earth are Southampton fans going to think of him after having taken them down from the Premiership and then going back to their fiercest rivals?

I have absolutely no respect for this guy, he really really irritates me.

I don't have anything against either club, but come on Pompey fans do you really want Judas back?

    • I am not a Portsmouth or Southampton fan either (AFC Bournemouth for me) but Harry is the only manager that can save Portsmouth, he is honest, wears his heart on his sleeve and football is is life! plus a real nice guy.

    • you are so wrong!!! the reason he left in the first place is because of his integrity and passion 4 the game.
he left pompey because he was not being allowed to do the job the way he wanted and the same happened at scumland with a rugby coach of all things planted on him. u can bet his return dictates no interference from so called directors of football or other so called experts
      PLAY UP POMPEY

      • Absolutely true Harry has what it takes as a manager all these poncified so called advisors and strategists should take a leaf out of Harry's book. Hopefully Harry will post a big NO BULL SHIT here sign at Portsmouth. One thing that is certain Harry has a magic down to earth kind of Charisma that cannot be bettered by any football manager we have in the UK right now.

        Go 4 it Harry

    • As a Pompey fan, when I first heard Redknapp might be coming back I thought oh **$%, how can he, but the more I think about it the more I do want 'Judas' to return. Harry is arguably our most successful Portsmouth manager ever, he turned Portsmouth FC from a bottom of (what was then) Division 1 club, to a premiership club and he did it with **$% all money. The circumstances surrounding him leaving us and then going to the Scummers were unbelievable. Portsmouth fans around the world were shocked and disappointed in him, but football is an incredibly fickle game. I know what he did for us, and having him back before the January transfer window would be great. Come back Harry, all is forgiven. (I'm not sure how he'll get on with Laurent Robert though - don't get me started on that situation)

      • Robert has to go - Shame really, kid has bags of talent but seems not interested! Just hope all the 'pompey faithful' put their brains in before the go to the match and realise Harry is the only hope we have! Wonder if their will be money available for players??? Has anyone asked where has all the money gone!!!! Even Fred Dinage could not have spent that much on hair tonic, surely!

    • You are right, the man has no shame. Whats the betting he'll ask Southampton for a loyalty bonus? Just watch he'll be aboard a second sinking ship in May 06(I heard they'd found his CV and P45 in the Mary Rose)

    • Leave Harry alone. he has just done a charity gap year. now its time to get back to work

      • What more could a True pompey fan have hoped for ???
Our manager takes us into the premiership, keeps us up,then goes down the road and takes the scum (which rates as one of the best sundays ever!!!!)down to the cola league .Now that job is done comes back to us and moves us on up the table. It's nearly a fairytale ending.
There is only one team in hampshire and arry knows it!

    • I am a Portsmouth supporter and I do agree he is a **** but if he does come back and keep us up he will be a god again. He done his bit taking the scummers down. I went too Man Utd on Saturday and opinons are definately split.

    • As a pompey fan of 15 years I feel qualified to comment. Yes we were pissed off that he left for southampton, but at the end of the day - I'd rather leave my principles at the gate and see pompey stay up than have another foreign manager be brought in out of desperation. Who else is going to want to be pompey's manager in the situation they are in?
He didn't want to relocate on account of him living in the most sort after area of england (sandbanks) so saints were his only option. But, yes he misjudged the upset it would cause.

If it wasn't for him Pompey would have never even been promoted in the first place.
Pompey fans would take him back just for the simple fact it will annoy saints fans.

      • Trust me love, it wont.... As a Southampton fan, just checking out what you are all getting excited about, remember, this was a guy who, even with a good proven track record, left one club for a rival. As soon as any kinda offer, albeit from any club, harry would have gone.
Bloody Glen Hoddle is being bantered around now, eveyone I have spoken to over the weekend, still dont want him back, even though our chairman does, nothing new there, It is a question of loyalty and passion. Both of which Harry tried to tell us he had for Southampton, but looking at his face every weekend, we knew he had neither. Good luck if he does come back to you, well stick to Dave and Denis, and we will give you a little wave as we are passing you as we go back up......

      • Harry has lived in Sandbanks for many years and managed to commute to West Ham. Therefore, Saints was hardly his only choice! In my opinion he is a man with no integrity, well matched, therefore, with Mandaric! As a Saints fan I wish Harry the same success with Pompey as he had with us. Hope Pompey fans enjoy their well deserved return to the Championship.

    • As a fan of Portsmouth Football Club i find the prospect of Harry coming back as a big mistake !! The club should be taking its self forward not a step backwards . I think if Harry comes back its for the wages of the prem lge.Come on Milan wake up there some big names out there not working Peter Reid and George Burley etc.

    • If you don't support either Portsmouth or Southampton then why get so upset???

    • It's the way the game has become. Harry knew that before any of us.

He did nothing wrong whilst AT Pompey. I really feel for Saints fans but they got Woodward. Best job satisfaction decision allround. Harry works at the real end of the game...Not with mighty mega bucks. His time at West Ham I also respect. He works for the club..not the fans. A manager of mind, not neccessarily heart.

This is the modern world now! A taste of things to come....before you know it it will be musical players and managers as they all swap chairs weekly after their prima-donna tiffs. lol
