Berbatov will he stay or will he go

Yeah that pisses me right off when all the pundits and media keep saying is how good he will be at Man U / Chelsea.

When the premier league finally ends being a 2-horse race like in Scotland, what will the media say about it? I almost expect to read an article saying how selfish we are for not selling our best players to Man Utd "for the good of the game!!"

We MUST keep him for at least 1 more season. Even then, we should fight tooth and nail to keep him thereafter, even if it means increasing our paltry limit on player salaries by ten-fold.

    • I totally agree However I can not see it happening and I do feel we are destined for another Carrick scenario. By the way has anyone seen the reports about Barton. I know he is trouble at times but do you think he could fit in at the Lanes

      • I just don't see him going. Carrick was different, he's grown up in England & so will have different goals, but Berbatov knew what he was coming to when he joined us, & he seems to be enjoying being the hero for now. Maybe if he feels like he's not achieving enough this time next year he'd go, but he seems content for now.

As for Barton, if anyone can tame him it's Big Mart, I'm just not sure whether he'd want to...

      • Berbatov is awsome could be one of the best. however if we can't even keep him for more then one season then there is no hope of us ever playing champions league football. as for barton, i think he would be an awfull signing. There would be no point in risking the harmony of the squad for a player who is only just good enough to play for city.
