    New Dawn

Fistly great day on Sunday thought the guys played so well. However (always a however if you support the spurs) having watched the Spurs for over 40 years, have seen so many false dawns, this time we must really use this as a spring board to better times or in three years time we will be looking for a new man to take us forward yet again. We have the backing we have the olayers and finally a manager who seems to not only know what to do but is lucky in that his decisions or substitutions usually pay off. once again well done all at the Lane COYS

    • I think the last time we won anything your syrup was still raoming free on the Serengiti Brucie.
Its looking a little mange'y now though...might be time to get your ol hunting blunderbus out of the wardrobe son!

    • I think this boils down to our own expectations/aspirations Weyspurs.
Like you I have experienced many false dawns as a Spurs fan but when Jol took over and brought us back into Europe and 2 top 5 finishes...well that was such an improvement on the shite we had been fed for so many years......I really felt we had finally acheived something. Of course we all want to be in the CL and winning trophies but for most PL clubs, what we acheived under Jol was about as good as it gets.
Now we have a manager who is up there with the best.....he will have money to spend in the summer and we already have a trophy and are back in Europe next season. Liverpools days are numbered and I dont see the likes of Everton or Villa having better managers and squads than us so the future is definitely exciting for Spurs. We have raised the bar in terms of our aspirations but I think we are justified in doing so......for once!
