Tottenham Hotspur Message Board
Well with only 24hrs to go its time to kick off the season again.
All the transfer talk that surrounds our club is now really annoying as we aim to start the campaign with a win against an improving team under Southgate.
So ignore all transfer talk for this one thread and let me know your prediction for tommorow.
I predict 1-2 to the SPURS Bent and jenas to score.
Easy 3 - 0 to us and we will be up the top of the table!!! CMON u spurssss! i sense glory day is comin back to reawaken at the White Hart Lane!!!!!! am so0o0o00 bleedy excited, finally the football start today. been bored all summer!!!!!

I admire your optimism chaps!! I'm going for a 3 - 0 drubbing, with the boys still on a high from pre-season and absolutely oozing confidence. 1 for Bent, 1 for Bentley and 1 for Lennon.
I also predict that Mr Southgate will get so frustrated he'll trip over and plant his toofy-pegs in the touchline!!!
OK - I'll stick my neck out and say 3-0 as King & Woody look likely to start as the cb pairing and I was impressed with Gomes against Roma....... also Boro are going to have to field a relatively inexperienced back 4.... oh yeah & Mido will be playing - bet Leds and Woody are having sleepless nights over that one (NOT!!!)..... Zokora against Downing will be an interesting tussle too.
Scorers: Bent 2, Bentley 1
COYS!!!!!!!!!!! Let's start as we mean to go on : )

well some confident predictions there. i think it will be a tense nervy start. Southgate has claimed he will attck teams which would suit us for counterattacks but really we all know we can score its all about our defence and yes zokora vs downing sounds like the battle of the game.
Come on zokora!

I think over the last couple of seasons games between Boro & spurs have been relatively tight encounters..
1-1 last season, 3-2 the season before.
Cos I'm going to the Riverside tomorrow I hope to see a win so my journey back won't seem so long.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say 3-1 to the lillywhites.
Scorers: Bent, Dos Santos & Lennon
