    GET ROBBIE BACK

He's never been given a good run at Liverpool and there's all kinds of speculation flying about regarding loaning him out etc.
He loved his time at Spurs and I reckon you guys loved him. A loan deal till the end of the season---perfect.

    • He's back and he brings with him Premiership safety for Spurs.

    • You heard this here.

      Barclays Premier League
      Liverpool v Tottenham, 16:00

Robbie Keane to score match winner...keeps Spurs up and Man Utd win league as a result.

    • BBC Sports reports the deal is done.......glad as the shirt I bought at the start of the season had his name on the back :)

    • Robbie Keane has been left out for the Chelsea game today (Sky Sports News). Is he also on his way back?

    • Everyone thought he was at home at spurs but obviously a thought not held by Keane himself! If you love a club then you don't win a cup, say how much you love the club and that you will spend the rest of your career there and then leave literally the next week saying that your dream is to play for Liverpool. He must of said the things about Spurs as he knew thats what the fans wanted to hear not what he actually felt and that is deceiving the fans that adored him!

The problems with spurs performances this season I feel is down to the midfield not being physical enough and not providing enough for the forward and Palacios will hopefully add the physicallity and Bentley will hopefully become the player we know he can be!

    • Anthony, I don't know what you think but just talking football in general really.
We go to see so many bloody boring games these days, Keane for me at least seems to love what he's doing and creates a connection with the fans. You guys know why he left, more than I do.
But he seemed totally at home at the Lane, after a few weeks back I'm sure he'd be buzzing around and scoring and even you would be lifted again.
Harry to come up north, no chance--he bottled it once. I just threw the Defoe thing in.

    • Why would Harry want to move to Newcastle? No matter how bad spurs are playing we are by a long way not in the crisis newcastle are in!

And whose to say Defoe would follow Harry where ever he goes? I'm in agreement that Defoe returning to Tottenham was in some way because of the reason we are managed by a manager he clearly loves playing for but it would be a big assumption to say thats the only reason he came back! He didn't want to leave Spurs in the first place, but as I'm sure we all agree had to for the sake of his career. He's shown great respect to our football club not only in both spells but also when playing against us for Portsmouth.

As with Robbie Keane, he thought the grass was greener but is finding out the hard way and needs to learn from his mistake. Maybe if he came out in the press and admits he made a mistake leaving and would love to come back I may think differently but until that happens then I for one dont want him back.If he scored against us you would see the real robbie keane but as he cant even get on the bench anymore I cant see that happening! what a shame!

    • nope, dont want him back. he went for his dream of playing for liverpool so let him live a nightmare up there. he was losing pace anyway with us and we should keep all that money we got for him and sign a younger striker.

    • And if Harry moves on shall we say, to for example Newcastle. What would Defoe do?
