i am sure there are different opinions....but i couldf have cited most of Revies Leeds team....destroyers all of them!!!!....i saw collins go up to head a ball with john white
behind him and deliberately kick him in the back of the thigh.....and finish him for the rest of the game.....he had to hobble off....disgusting!
Rambro - see your point on Nobby Stiles and he would certainly have been involved somewhere in my Mr Nasty team and I could probably squeeze Chopper Harris in as well.
Ledders is a cert for the good guys. I think he has a certain lack of confidence and that translates into unassuming. Perhaps its his lisp that makes him a little unconfident. But a great player nonetheless.
I haven't seen any mention of Steve Perryman on here. He always appeared to be a nice bloke in his interviews. Never met him so I'm not sure.
One nice gent, as already stated, was Pat Jennings. Met him once when he "Re-opened after refurbishment" The Duke of Wellington pub, if my memory serves me right, on the corner of Turnpike Lane and Wood Green High Road. Such a quiet unassuming man, really opened my eyes. Always had the feeling that a lot of high profile sports stars were so full of themselves.

sfer did you know that stan bowles was a gambling addict and a heavy loser ....he owed a lot of money to a nasty bookie....he could not pay and they were looking for him all over london to break his legs....he was staying at a different address every night....he pleaded with manager to get him atransfer so he could get a slice of the transfer fee....so it took place and he paid the bookie off..and saved his life........but he carried on gambling....he was a real character
I finally got a laugh after reading all that Bent Pavy bollocks in the other threads...nice one Sfer (especially the toothless front line (kind of like ours right now...but a different kind of toothless).
One Norbert Stiles would've made my list, but other than him, I agree with your picks.
A ents team would have to have our Ledders anchoring the back 4...many a forward have talked about how Ledley King would never foul you at least not on purpose, but yet he's one of the most difficult players to play against...no fairer than that eh?
And one from the memory banks...Tommy Smith coming a cropper after a collison with Martin Chivers, at Anfield - Spurs supporters burst into the Cheee-vers Cheee-vers refrain when Bronson got taken off injured.
OK I will give the thugs 11 a go seeing as no one else has...
Lehman - evil b4stard
Gary Neville (just cos I hate him)
Keane (Manure of course)
The latter two had less teeth than normal people so deserve to be there!
Real dirty players are the calculated ones, Derek. The ones who don't do the evil deed on a regular basis, but when they do the unfortunate receiver stays down and Johnny Giles merely goes on his merry way unpunished.
