I wouldn't expect him to do a full 90 mins, he's been out for a fairly long time, but I'd imagine he'd get a run - probably the last 20 mins or so. If he's as enthusuastic and sharp as 'Arry says he could be just the boost needed towards the end of a match whether we're win, lose or drawing.
I'd like to see what Pav can do against Utd, they strike me as the sort of team he'd enjoy getting stuck into. I suppose we'll see soon.
Don't forget, Pav's scored against them before for us (FA Cup loss)...
Personally I think we'll go with one up top and look for hittng them on the break (defnitely can't see a 4-3-3)...Defoe will be on the bench and Bent will be in the reserves (yes, I said it!)...so Pavy will be the lone striker. We'll flood the middle (expect Jenas, Palacios Modric and maybe Hudds/O'Hara and Zokora just to make life difficult for them...same thing for the last game of the season too against 'pool).

Thanks Rambr0, I had forgotten that!
I think you're right about the 4-5-1, although you missed Lennon out of your midfield suggestions there... I'm going to guess Jenas, Palacios, Lennon, Modric, and one of Hudd or Zokora, although if Bentley's been playing well I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a run - he's always up for the big games, it just depends on his mindset and how he's playing.
On Bentley, I know we've all been (quite rightly) slating him, but he's not a bad player overall. I wonder what these 'personal problems' that have affected his form are, and if Redknapp's brought any of it back yet. I don't imagine him leaving in the summer (perhaps Jan if he still can't get a game), it'd be interesting to see how he'd do (and if he'd fit in?) if he was back at his best.
And Yid, I don't remember when we last beat them (I've just looked it up, it was 20 March 2004), but we've managed 0-0 draws after 90 mins this season, the FA Cup was a reduced strength team (perhaps not massively, but it was noticably reduced) and they only just beat us, and out of all the top 4 they're the ones I'd most want to face after this week. For the last 2 or 3 seasons we've been very very unlucky with our results against them, tending to lost when on balance of play you'd think we deserved a win, so I don't think it's unrealistic to go for at least a point out of it.
However, we've got Newcastle to go first...
