    Luka Modric

I'm a little bit concerned by the speed at which Modric seems to be returning; while obviously you can get differing severities of leg breaks, this seems a little bit too hasty for my liking - is he definitely ready after 6 weeks?

Some reports said it was just a fracture, in which case I guess it'd be ok, but many said broken which I'd assume to take longer. Anyway, if he is ready to return that'll obviously be a good thing, it'll be interesting to see what happens now JJ's fit and we've got Krancar.

    • totally agree. With the games coming up i.e. Bolton, Portsmouth and Stoke, I can't see the need to rush him back. Lets save him for the Goons

      • Whilst I share the optimism of our good start, I am a little reluctant to underestimate our next few opponents. Bolton are a bit of a bogey side for us (especially away), Stoke done us away last season and even Pompey have to turn the corner at some point. A lot will depend on our result and performance against Bolton as we will have 2 weeks to reflect on it before our next match. On paper we should at least create plenty of chances....I really dont fancy another day like we had away to them last season though eh? Naturally if we come out guns blazing we should simply have too much for Bolton...I'll try and think positive guys!
Agree about Luca.....dont rush him back too quickly...especially if we are maintaining our challenge in the league over the next few weeks.
