    • yeh any 50/50 decisions 9 times out of 10 go utds way.
& also vidic, scholes, rooney etc commit about 3 or 4 yellow card offences every game & usually end up with just 1 yellow at worst.

    • "well spurs babe it must be hard working at O.T seeing the mancs get 10 mins extra time and fergie chewing like a horse."

Ouch don't tell me that when u were applying for the job u had to stand up and claim to be a manure fan while introducing yourself (admitted with a very heavy heart) :P

    • Definitely agree with you SB - missed someone to anchor the middle at the back - and as I noted in another post - we looked leaderless and like a bunch of strangers playing out there.

Tats on girls do not have the same implications over here - especially in Oregon which is one of the most liberal and laid back states in the U.S.

I still think we can do it if we can get 4 points out of the Arse & Chelski games - which I think is doable.

    • thanks for the info old fan. i knew my fat bum would come in handy for something.
i know back tats are seen as slag tags but where ever a girl gets a tat its either seen as slutty or manly. cant win!

bad result today oldfan. i just feel we have too many key players out to win games like today. lennon & any CB from woodgate, dawson & king were hugely missed today.

    • Your on!
You know I still have some programs from back then - 3d a piece, and if I remember right, it used to be a shilling to get in to a league game if you were a kid - bit more if it was a European game.
We were blessed - it was a different time and we got to see what was perhaps the greatest team in the history of Spurs.
Have a great Easter B2S - I'm heading south to see my grandsons for the week-end (identical 2 1/2 yr old twins) - who will be playing football - and not calling it soccer!

    • There you go then, OF. You could sleep on the treatment table and I'm sure if you hung around the kitchens they'd sling you a few scraps each day.

And once I've finished building the new stadium you could move into the special apartment I have persuaded Levy to include. I've placed it right in the middle of the executive boxes and includes free bar service during matches. The lounge window looks right down onto the pitch and you can live there after retirement for a peppercorn rent of 1/9d a week, about what it cost for a game when we were kids.

How's that for an offer you can't refuse.

    • haha sorry mate, i make spellling and grammer mistakes all the time.... corecting other peoples however makes me feel big and clever! lol

    • ... and to answer your question - I'd do it for free if I had a place to sleep and they fed me!

    • My youngest daughter would be a better choice B2S - she's currently in college studying to be a physical therapist.

Think I'm gonna make it back over to England sometime next year (definitely during the season) after I've finished my degree and got a few months of employment under my belt. It's been a few years since I've been to a game at the Lane - not since I've lived over here - and I moved here in 1977.

Last time I was at a game I was in the stands ... back when that meant you stood for the game ... or in reality moved up and down the steps as the crowd rolled around.
