    (trying to) KEEP RIGHT ON!

PS im gonna fuckin' screw if i ever see ridgewell in the first team again!

    • Daz I beleive councelling for both the noses and their fans is the way forward, it must be so trumatic supporting such crap as you do, if there's anything we can do to help you through this trumatic time of RELEGATION please let us know.

    • YES ..I TOTALLY AGREE ... BUT BY GOD I ENJOYED IT............

    • The answer for me, and because I watch Blues, that qualifies my expert status.....the answer lies not at 3:00hrs on a Saturday afternoon (unless the match is televised on SKY then Sunday 12:00 or 5:30pm on a Sunday afternoon after the first match showing on Sunday midday, to prevent any conflict with the England game, then it could be at 8:00 Monday evening, but to help viewers in China, the match will be shown at...,,,oh balderdash) anyway, the training ground is where games for me are won or lost....if it isn't happening on the pitch, at whatever time SKY deem suitable, then questions must be asked at backroom staff level first...

The Bruce legacy still remains to a point, despite the mass exodus of Black and Spink...to that well known top club Wigan Pier....or maybe without the Pier..but still the same backwater.

FOR CHRIST SAKE , WE ARE THE SECOND CITY CLUB..WHY CAN'T WE GET IT RIGHT FOR ONCE?????????

    • I agree.
It is far better to be up the top going for glory rather than scraping down the bottom having all the muck and bullets thrown at you.
I sincerely hope that the Blues will pull it off though.

    • Good points Nig.

So if you can match or beat the other bottom teams for player quality on paper....Why does it not happen on grass?

For me, much as i like Forrsell, he has had injuries and this season was his to prove he is a class act still. I think he has come up short and maybe his Premiership days are gone. That said, sometimes a player who wasn't prolific in the Prem can fire goals for fun in the Championship. Look at Kevin Phillips. I have no doubt he would fall flat on his arse in the Prem, but in this division he is a very good player.

A manager is far more important than people think, and maybe your man is below par. I know when he came you had some high scoring results but the truth be known, you could and maybe should have been dead and buried in some of those games before making a great game of it.

But the Prem is not the be all and end of football. In fact it might b a breath of fresh air to not see 22 cheats on a pitch next season!

    • What I don't get Roy is this.

Despite all the banter between the Villa lads and us, taking the team in general, there are some damn good players playing for Blues. Taylor, maybe past his prime, but still a capable keeper...
Murphy...excellent left back.....Naifti....Zarate, Forrsell, McFadden, Larsson, Kapo, ....could go on on, these players are premiership players, so just what has gone wrong?

I would say that signing Ridgewell was a mistake. The fans have accepted him, but as Lee pointed this out to me months ago...the guy is a walking disaster area. The home game against Villa, he booted it into our own goal, panicked under pressure...positioning way out aginst Sunderland away, leading to their first goal...list goes on and on, and all his mistakes lead to goals against, and points lost. How I would love to see Laim Daish back now, that wouldn't happen. The forwards have never really found a problem scoring, so its blatently obvious to me the fault lies in defence.

What isn't excusable though is lack of effort. I refused to watch the Fulham game, I was absolutely gutted, told by a mate who went that they showed no passion, imagination, or effort so chose to watch Emmerdale omnibus edition instead, at least that way I was never going to bed wanting to kick the fackin dog anyway.

Even for my usual extreme optimism, unless Fulham and Reading fack it up big time next Sunday...then we are back to square one again...Perhaps not a bad thing if the bigger picture is looked at, but just how many times have I said that now?

One thing though, when the close season is over, I will still be there, as and when I can go due to my shift patterns, despite which division we are in.

Incidently, do you get Championship style stalkers, like the ones in the Premiership?

    • After watching the highlightes of your game V's Fulham, the most dissapointing thing was not the defeat but the manner of the defeat.

Fulham are a poor side, that's why they are down there but they showed a positive never say die attitude and gave it 100%.

Birmingham looked like a side that had already given up, or as though they were mid table and had nowt to play for. If all your final games were against the top 4 and you didn't get a sniff in the games, thus getting relegated, you couldn't complain....But some of your recent games have been ones where points could have and should have been won.

One game to go and judging by the Fulham game......You don't have a prayer.

I don't give this analysis to take the mickey. I like the Derbies and want you to stay up.

    • Nige......dont forget to come to Cardiff, take you for a decent beer mate.....
      Respect

      LOVE FOOTBALL
      HATE THE JACKS

    • Eeeee rrrrrrrr lads,

We maybe (not yet) down, we may be batterered, bewildered, confused as to just how we ended up where we are after our performances against the TOP teams,, @rsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, ManU...not those 'aspiring' to be ...but if the worse appens, we all like a laugh, something to reflect on, so next time we feel down, look a this and chin's will rise, dark clouds will clear, sky will be BLUE..we WILL be back...!!
