Birmingham City Message Board
This is the big one, bigger than Wembley.
The good thing is that with both Ridgewell and Gardner back we will be solid in defence again and Johnson can play his own game.
May be this is a time for Jerome to play and hold the ball up, and to even get on the score sheet.
After the revelations this week I think the players at least owe the fans 200% otherwise they will have lets us down.
Pity Zigic isn’t fit or Martins as we could do with some fire power on the bench in case we need a late onslaught.
Let’s see if we can keep 11 players on the pitch this week too.
I think a draw will see us through but a win of any sort is what we really need.
I can't see it, Busdriver. I think we have ridden to close to the wind this time. at 5:00pm I expect to see us, Blackpool and West Ham getting out our sat Navs to find out the best route to Brighton and Hove Albions ground. I don't like uit, but we should have sorted this weeks ago. Jerome is as responsible for our position. both to go at the end of the season for me.
BTW Pikey...I'll pass the info Tuesday, not before. Let the dust settle first...Relegation has that effect on people.

Being a Gemini allows me a two sided (faced)view,
On one side I see us grabbing a deserved draw, Blackpool losing, Wigan drawing and Wolves thrashing Blackburn.
We lose, Blackpool lose and Wigan get a last gasp equaliser at Stoke sending us down.
Everybody can see we cant score for toffee, but laying the blame at Jerome's feet is harsh.
In all honesty, we looked even less likely to score without him last week.
Against Spurs, we must make sure we don't lose and try and win it by nicking the odd goal.
Should McLeish play Jerome up front with Gardner as the spearhead of a five man midfield?
I would start with Beausejour and Larsson on the flanks with Ferguson and Mutch making up the five.
I would have Redmond on the bench. Young and fearless.
We can use Phillips in his best role as impact player in the second half. I would love him to score the goal that keeps us up.
Anyway, fingers crossed.
