      • Who do you support then boomers? Come on tell us then we can take the #$%$ out of your team. If your a wednesdayite then we dont want ya so #$%$ off. We deserve to be up there with the best. We will bounce back next season when we have a fully fit squad and we can rip the other championship teams apart with frannie jeffers and sodje and the rest of the team showing that wednesday really do have the team to rise up the table. We have struggled with long term injuries to our best players and yes we struggled but how many teams would have crumbled completely and gone straight down. mmmmm we showed great character and commitment to play the way we did to stay up and Brian Laws did a great job under very difficult circumstances on and off the pitch. ROLL ON NEXT SEASON!!!!!

    • how can teams like derby get investors to pay off 25m debt and a huge transfer kitty and we cant. we are a much bigger club and have alot more potential. so someone please get your cheque book out and save us

    • This club belongs where they are. I have been supporting the Owls for forty years. I am fed up in the past 10 years of watching #$%$ We can not live in the past or expect to be up with the big boys because we once was. Believe me what i see week in week out is a club going no where. Allen showed what he thought of the prospects and walks out.. and that is the Chairman! I am afraid that i will be following him soon. Thank God the blunts are not yet performing but they can buy there way out with the parachute money. We are going nowhere. I rate Laws but not due to him the only way is down.I am going to say good bye Sod it the blunts have bigger crowds and a much better team. Barnsley are the best team in South yorkshire and have more chance of success then any other team. Role on the end of the season and i can kiss my beloved Wednsday good bye and get my life back.

    • what an absolute load of #$%$!!!!! grounds falling apart, don`t own the training ground and have no players worth any money.....they belong where they are now!

    • Bad business management is the problem - nothing new for the club.
We had crowds 80% of the Prem would cry for while in the "3rd" division and the loyalty of the fans is legondary - we bleed blue from birth - just like pompey fans. Problem is, all that gate money doesn't go to putting the right players on the pitch to get us back to the top - it goes to paying off the last attack of stupidity and resulting debt - of course we did the same thing in the 70s, 80s and 90s which is why we yoyo.
The current Boss has a similar style to those who've dug us out of the pile before, so I think we can stay up and then move on over the next few seasons. But when we do get back where we belong, I hope that someone with a football and a business brain is controlling the board. Failing that I'll settle for deep pockets.

Good luck with the rest of the season - I think we'll both need it.

      • What is wrong at Hillsborough. Season aftyer season we struggle against relegation (except promotion to the championship of course - and beatinbg United!). We have an exceptional number of injuries. Is there something wrong with the training programmes in use or are the players just not fit enough? The training programmes must be risky if Brian laws is saying he daren't train players in case they pick up any more injuries!
