Who would you like to replace Wenger?

    Rijkaard,
    SAF,
    Moureen,
    O'Neal

    In order of prefference

    • pijin, good choice of replacement. Scolari will be idea ot only because he will encourage good technicaL play but he can mix it as well. And he is a very good motivator and can possibly be a better half-time coach/tactician than Wenger.

I would not want him to improve his English too much - I will prefer not to have to hear him talking to the press that much. His English is actually passable as it is.

Anyways, Wenger has admitted to some personal failings, and that is good to hear. I hope he will endeavour to improve on those failings. The buck stops with the manager!

I dont think you understand the meaning of the phrase - the buck stops... And I did say personal failings - so I was not even talking about 100% blame but those aspects that relate to him...

You only feel that you are being talked down at because you are probably semi-illiterate. You are the only one that comes up with comments like someone is talking down at you or persecuting you and so on.

No wonder roonaldo find it so easy to slaughter you. Just read roonaldo & freddoc's post about the buck stopping with Wenger.

Wenger also has accepted overall responsibility for the overall 'worst' season of his career with Arsenal. Stop being Arsene's bitch - he can take care of himself.

      • As an "out there" idea what about Rice and Bergkamp co-managing the team. I know Bergkamp is untested, but it's a nice idea all the same.

The only thing I disagree with is about the buck stopping with the manager. The players have to share 50% of the blame theres only so much the manager to do and then it's up to the players on the field to do the job. I've always felt the players need to accept more of the blame. Like the England squad and Sven, everybody acts like it was Sven out there playing the game like a lame duck, the players on the pitch are being paid to do a job they should love and easily be able give 110% week in week out.
