    • Indeed good news but any as yet unassessed injury to an Arsenal player scares me! They can turn out worse than expected although I suspect Vermaelen is a much tougher cookie than the likes of Walcott or Rosicky
If he is just out for 1 game, Sol should just about cope, however as was said earlier, I can see Song slotting in there .
Please may these injuries end - I do not recall a spell like this.
I just wish they would re-surface the training ground, or the Emirates or just do something!

      • I think Sol and Gallas will be fine with Song in front for the next few games
The problem as i see it is we are having problems finding anything for the money we want to pay
The price paid for smalling is anything from 4 rising to 8 to a straight 12 million this for a guy who has only made a handful of prem appearances
I know also Arsenal still have a wage structure which i think is causing problems when you hear what players are reportedly earning
Just heard that AC Milan turned down an Arsenal Approach for Huuntellar

      • Great news indeed - a long term injury could have seen the end of our challenge for the major trophies.

To me, Wenger builds his castles on quicksand. The squad lacks the depth in key positions like CB and CF, and we are reliant on having a lucky season in terms of injuries...

... which we haven't for years.

But then... I'm a plastic, of course.
