With Anelka gone, Drogba and Kalou probably going, Torres not able to hit a barn door and Lukaku a good three years off being competitive there would seem to be a massive opportunity for a proven goalscorer in between Mata and Sturridge.
Roman seems to like to sign players who have scored winners against us. I wonder where this is all leading.
i dont see RVP leaving arsenal for chelsea. i think he would more likely leave for either manchester club (doubt utd need him) or barca or madrid.
cant see chelsea winning the prem for a good few yrs at least.
the only possible reasons RVP would join chelsea are for a big pay rise & because he can stay living in london (if he likes it here?).

My gut feeling is if we manage to qualify for CL RVP will stay, provided we substantially increase his pay and we make some good signings. Podolski is a step in the right direction if it happens. Add Giroud, another creative midfielder Eriksen or Kagawa (Götze and Hazard are simply out of our price range!), a decent DM backup for Song or maybe an upgrade! Clear out the deadwood and yes we can keep RVP.
If he does decide to leave, well wish him luck and start praying harder than we do right now!
