    Tottering Tottenham....

......and losing the plot Liverpool. All we need now is WBA to pull of the shock of the season(& I wouldn't bet against it) and Arsenal too (easily) bury Newcastle. Then some on here will really start packing it.. Nothing is beyond the realms of possibility when the two Manchesters start to feel each others pressure(about now 'til May) and start making inevitable mistakes. Remember we have players coming back. Which I'm sure AW must be confident about; which he deserves, given the appalling lack of support he has had from the boot lickers on this board. And can someone please point me back to our position in Sept. Oct. Nov 2011, and then try to convince me that had things gone a little(even just a little) better Arsenal would not be sitting right on the tail of both Man City & Utd. right now??!!

    • i agree john. was really suprised they appointed him.
he isnt in the same league as the top class of managers around.
it took him a whole season to realise with all that money & attacking talent, its a mistake to play 3 holding midfielders at home to relegation battlers!

i do think a jose, pep, fergie etc would have comfortable won city the league this season when u look at the competition around.

he never has instilled good team spirit either & still makes baffling decisions.

    • I'm surprised you find your way into the Arsenal site after Thursday night EMBARRASSMENT.

I'm assuming this is another Man U muppet hiding under FAKE id.

      What's your REAL id, icj?

    • I dont know about floating like a butterfly, but you certainly are off with the fairies.

    • "Hes made City tough to beat "

      Funny that.

Liverpool are the 2nd meanest defence in the league, only better by Mancini's City.

    • Lets hope you are right. He was a failure in Europe you say, but so have Wenger and even to some degree Fergie. At Inter he recorded 17 straight victories in the league, not an abject fail by any means and not simply a result of the scandal. Hes made City tough to beat and has handled Balotelli better than Mourinho. Its hard to judge is all Im saying.

    • Couldn't agree more, John.

Mancini is a poor manager, I'm surprised it took people until now to realise it. Any other top manager in Europe would have got a lot of the excellent squad City possess, given the talented quality players City have, most would have got the title sewn-up a long time ago.

      Packing what?

Don't kid yourself Ducati. We are where we are mainly because this is possibly the worst performing the premiership has been for years. Even Utd fans recognise how weak they are in comparison to previous years. Yet we find ourselves 12 points behind them with ten games to go. Chelsea lucked out getting a unkown and un-tested manager, who the players didn't respect. Liverpool continue to hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons. and Spurs are having their hiccup.

Still ten games to go, and rumours building that RVP has agreed a deal to go to City for £210k p/w. Stupid as this seems. It will only build to infuriate Wenger even more.

Still, you and Fab both think that a top three finish is as good as winning the CL, so there's no need to panic is there.

    • Dodgy be careful. I agree with what you said about the spurs. But surely you will have to be on an overdose to think we can catch up with the mancs........see beyond....
