    Wilshere - Cazorla - Arteta

    Ox - Walcott - Podolski

We know the Toon can score. We know they also let them in....The question is, can Walcott step it up a gear?

One sure thing. Pardew will get his knickers in a twist at some point and Wenger will react.

    You know it makes sense.

    Arsenal 3 - 1 Newcastle

    We need it.

      The answer - YES

      Time to cough up Arsene?

    • Its difficult to know the truth but over the years buying cheap and selling at a massive profit seem to be the impression that everyone get when talking about Arsenal.Looking at Arsene Wenger, I do believe that he is under tremendous pressure all the time i.e. since the "invincible" time. Have a closed session with the Board of Directors, let them explain the real situation, bear in mind that there is a limit to the club financial resources.

    • It might appear that we have simply sold off good players, but plenty have left on a free, which is an ever increasing worry. Since 2004 some of the players we have let go include: Edu, Wiltord, Pires, Campbell & Flamini. Maybe some had been passed their best, but they still went on to do a job for another club.

Letting Walcott go might be the worst sign yet that Kroenke is simply cashing in, using Arsenal as a business and not treating it like a competing football club.

Walcott wants a wage rise from £70k p/w to £100k p/w with a regular spot up front. (according to popular reports)

I don't now see this as an unreasonable demand. (At the end of last year I would have). Arsenal have offered £75k, and may have offered £85k. (according to some reports)

£100k p/w for a 20+goal scorer per year is cheap in comparison to some other premiership players. Balotelli & Adebayor didn't get 20 last season, yet I bet their wages are far higher.

The board are not going to admit anything other than the usual.

"We have made money available for Wenger to buy if he feels he needs it"

    • I presume you wish you had not written that given today's performance

      baaaaaaaaaa

    • Your presumptions do not surprise me one bit, what with you being a 'glory supporter'.

PS. Glad to see you have at last acknowledged who really are the BLIND 'sheep'.

      Much love.

    • Pixie still jumping up and down, looking for attention I guess.

His support has fallen off a cliff, yet he clings to his own ideals.

Barring last nights performance (in which the whole team was poor), do you think Walcott has earned his wage rise yet?

Many didn't think he was worth the £100k p/w demand in the summer. Me included. BUT would it be worse to let him go rather than cough up?

    • Writes John Thomas.....whilst clinging to yet another ManIOU glory supporter for attention!

      CRINGE!

You really are a one JT!

Until yahoo fixes it, Fabongrass, will you please shut the fuck up, you are an idiot.

    • But thats what you always say John.....isn't it??
To your mind, everytime you get caught out, you cry the same thing. ..." Oh! he's looking for attention blah blah blah! "

Isn't that YOU looking for attention. Or are you just trying to blind everyone into forgetting that it was you (as Fab always points out) that cried the loudest on here "TAXI FOR WENGER"
or " WALCOTTS NOT WORTH THE MONEY". and on and on and on. Get it straight John for once in your life , and be honest with folks, instead trying to cover your well ragged a..se all the time.
