    NO SIGNINGS!!!!

Who said Zaha was an arsenal target? Oh yes the media because they can be believed at all times cant they!? Heh. If he was a target a bid would have been made. Without a bid made a player is not a target merely someone a team is scouting.

As for profits and where do they go...? Go on the AST website and find out. Its all there in black and white. You will notice that arsenal do nat have vast profits available in the way some people believe they do. Finances get rather complicated when you get into them. Just cause we sold a few players and got 50 odd mill doesnt mean we then have 50 odd mill to spend. Much more to it than that.

    • Agreed, life isn't that simple and nor is business and that is what football is, we all agree!

However, teams have to strengthen every year if they want to compete so it makes business sense to bring in quality players either in the summer or the winter.

There are bargains about as it is now common practice for players to run their contracts down to force a huge pay rise or a move, just like RVP and Walcott.

It's a question of, Does Arsen honestly believe the current squad is strong enough to compete, he's felt the squad is good enough for the last 7 seasons! OR does he realise what we all have is that unless there is quality in the side with experience of winning then we can't compete.

We are coming out of a financial stranglehold because of the stadium so now is the time to show intent and bring in these players needed that make the difference.

    • Radg..Your talking to some on this thread, with the intelligence of a mule. And thats being unkind to the mule. They really don't care to go into it too much detail, or truth. Rather they post, if not insulting, dumb, arguments, that they cannot back up with any kind of intelligent information. They've never been out of their village, never mind to a football ground. Cant you see that?
And you Raider, give it a rest for Christ sake. Stop repeating yourself over and over again. Brighton 2 Arsenal 3. And thats with the second string out.
