  • The referee had a decision to make and he did not make that decision alone. He was in conference with his linesman while Nani was getting treatment (he didnt need). Although myself would have said it was a yellow card, if the referee deems it was dangerous play, then by the laws of the game it is a red card, no arguments its a decision he came to on conferring with the linesman. Why winge about it? get on with the game, The Special Ones Comments after the match were nice to hear from an opposing manager for a change, and Ferdinand should be punished for his antics around the ref at the end of the game
