    Wilshere......Could it happen?

The former Barcelona boss is set to take over from Jupp Heynckes at Munich next season, and has already eyed a list of targets to improve the squad already consisting of world-beaters. According to Metro, Gunners talisman Wilshere is Guardiola’s number one target, who is ready to make an audacious bid to bring the attacking midfielder to Germany.

The 21-year-old signed a new long-term contract only last December, but that will not deter Guardiola, who is keen to stamp his own authority at Bayern next season.
Arsenal have already sold the likes of Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri amongst others in recent windows, and with the England international being injury prone, they could be tempted to cash-in on their star midfielder.

The report suggests that Guardiola is adamant that the England international will be available at the right price, and is determined to sign the creative midfielder as soon as possible. Although the Spaniard realizes that Wilshere is unlikely to leave the Emirates, a lack of trophies in London could tempt him to join the Bundesliga champions.

That could put a serious dent in the clubs plans.....

    • I cant see it myself. He has Gunner blood in him. Im not saying he wont ever leave but I pretty convinced he would only consider it once he has had a few seasons over his injury and if Arsenal have not shown signs of improvement.

Every player has their price I suppose but I would also be livid if Arsenal sold him. We would know it would have nothing to do with Wenger either. It would have been dictated to by the tashed Yank. His head would be on the chopping block.

    • Yesterday's news John the Baptist, give it a bloody rest!
