£31.8m and £140k a week - THATS ALL it took to get a world class striker from Real Madrid!!?!
Classic old Prune Face strikes AGAIN...'We're minted - HONEST!!!'
I must admit, I am surprised this happened. I understood that there was a stumbling block over his contract around image rights.
£31.8m? That's a lot more than the £23m we agreed before Ancelotti rode into town. We'll never know if he was worth the risk now.
I have heard the offer for Suarez wasn't reported correctly.
It was actually £40m for Suarez. The £1 was for Stuart Downing.
Is a turnover of £300m (to be realised within two years) not 'minted' then?
I know it must grate to witness the fruition of Arsenals 10 year financial plan. What with them bidding for arguably the best striker in the Prem.
And to think,Arsenal have not yet called upon Usmanov to reach into his pocket. You do realise the guy is wealthier than Abramovich, naturally?

Chasing and signing are miles apart, midget, you chased Jovetić and lost, you chased Higuain and lost, you chased Rooney and lost, now you're chasing a player for £40m who is valued at £55m, the time to brag is when you actually sign someone.
As to Usmanov sugar-daddying you, have you not heard of the FFP rules?
