does mariner make a difference? is the sturrock/ mariner partnership work?

well, on the face of it the arrival of paul mariner has seemed to be worked, but for the time being it looks like he is keeping paul sturrock in a job?
would it be a good move to bring in maybe peter taylor to work along side paul mariner, and maybe take over the managers job here at argyle whilst shipping sturrock upstairs......i think this might just work and be good for the future of plymouth argyle......what are your thoughts?

    • Paul was a class player, played good fooball and i'm sure he will be a great asset to the team...... he learned alot from the likes of Bobby Robson, my only concern wud be that Paul is using Plymouth as a stepping stone back into english football.

      • Why should that concern you, or other Argyle fans for that matter. If he's ambitious to get higher up the ladder in English football that can only be good for Argyle, as long as we match his aspirations of course....if we don't then why should he stay? Catch 22 me thinks and Argyle can benefit from those ambitions! We did with Holloway!
