Does Schumacher deserve critics or sympathy?

Your memory is obviously playing tricks because I know of several drivers who have done it. The great Ayrton Senna is one but of course they all deny it and it is put down to a 'racing incident' - as were Schumacher's. If the stewards say it was a racing incident who the hell are YOU to say differently?

    • yes i remember some of his tough antics on the track against other drivers but his team mate was never a slave, senna beat his opponents on the track and not by a contract of #1 and #2.
he does deserve his critics as he now stated he regrets some of his carear low points.
his cheating antics will stick with the people who watched his results as he was in the right car at the right times i think there are better world champions who have won less races and yet never be thought of as a cheat as some people drive with morals.

    • Senna often said to another driver before a race: "If you try to overtake me at turn 1 then I won't let you through."

Then if that driver went up to him and complain after the race he would say: "I told you what I'd do before the race."

That's the one difference between Senna and Schumi. Schumi just dennies it while if Senna said he would do before the race he'll admit he said it.
