Ferrari want the lot for free

So Ferrari's el presidento Montezemolo isn't happy that his team have been handed the construstors championship on a plate, he wants both of his drivers to take a championship 1st and 2nd that they didn't win, well that would be great for Ferrari, ALL THE LOT FOR FREE, he may have his doubts that there are Ferrari parts on the McLaren car but there is NO PROOF so he should be happy and keep it at that, Im sure neither Kimi NOR Philipe want to hold a title that they didn't win fair and square.

    • Make your mind up my dear chaps from Italy.

      Option.1.

McLaren did not use any secrets from Ferrari. Don’t like that option? OK then, let’s go to Option 2.

      Option.2.

McLaren did use what they learned from Ferrari and because of it they made their car go faster. If this is the case then you also agree therefore that the Ferrari engineers are hopeless. Why? Simple…….both cars, same technology, McLaren cars go faster……implication….the engineers at Ferrari are #$%$ Don’t like that option? OK then, let’s go to Option 3.

      Option.3.

McLaren did use what they learned from Ferrari but it didn’t make the car go any faster, the reason the car went faster was because McLaren have got better drivers. If you like this option of course you do realize you would have to stop calling the McLaren drivers cheats! Don’t like that option? OK then, let’s go to Option 4.

      Option.4.

Ferrari secrets were used by McLaren and their drivers are #$%$ Like that one? Thought you might you cheeky chaps you. One problem though. If you agree the secrets were used then you have to go back to Option.2 and if you think that the McLaren drivers are #$%$ then go to Option.5

      Option.5

Ah I see, you think the McLaren drivers are #$%$ do you? Have a little peak at the driver’s standings (might put this into perspective for you) and go back to Option.3. There is one final option; not wishing to break with the natural flow of things here you will be happy to know its Option.6

      Option.6.

If you have read this far down go back to Option.1 as you were not paying during the previous 5 options. Shame on you.

    • Thank you for the opportunity to add my input to this article. Ferrari are so ungrateful and not even embarrassed that the so called spygate gave them the title. If true which I doubt, isn't it interesting to see another team use your techno to beat your team . So, I think ferrari must shut up and take the result as is. Mclaren said they used the 2002 car which beat Ferrari and improved it. They also said they already had the wing tech as well. So, the drivers deserve their points; they've beaten their rivals fair and square by driving a machine that is equal to others. The drivers never hit another all season to get a victory. Hooray Hamilton and Alonso. You guys are true drivers. God Bless you two. Mike; USA.

    • Dear old Luca should be very careful with his words, and where he says them. Should he be deemed to be breaking the, laughingly called, "sporting code" by not accepting the judgement of the court in Paris, he may well find that it is not Ferrari or McClaren who end up winning the World Constructors Championship. If I was currently lying in third place in the Constructors Championship, I think I'd be "having a word".

      • What on earth has WW2 got to do with F1, 2007?
On the F1 boards we've now had reference to race, colour, religion, and now nationality. Just shows how little of relevence some people have to add to the discussion. Mclaren fans can support their team(?), Ferrari fans can support their outfit: Everyone has their favourite team/driver but some comments have been ridiculous. I've watched GP longer than the 15 or 35 years people have talked about on the boards and in 2007 I believe the FIA's F1 has reached the basement. If 2008 is to be any better there's a lot of changes need to be made at the top and through the teams.

    • Give it a rest !!
The whole of F1 this season has had a bad smell about it. The FIA, Mclaren, Ferrari and the moronic 'fans' here have ALL brought GP appreciation to an all time low.
Take ALL the 'driver aids' away next year and ban pit wall control of the car's systems. Then REAL drivers will win races:The constructors champianship will become meaningless and not a list in order of their budgets.

      • You either have a boring but fair drivers' champship where all the cars are identical, or a F1 championship where the quality of the car depends on the budget of the team. In F1, the big teams have a massive advantage and always have had, yet the smaller teams don't whinge and complain. Let Ferarri have Spyker's or Torro Rosso's budget and then see how good they are. They wouldn't win a single race!! How dare they pontificate about fairness.

    • Agreed. This is all getting very stupid now and the only losers will in fact be Ferrari now that they are being seen to act as a petulant child and are clearly being supported by Mosely at least if not more important figures still.

Equally if there is so much Ferrari in the car, why is it not Massa or Raikonnen up there in the lead? Curious don't you think, or is that the McLaren is a different car or perhaps McLaren are better at making Ferraris than Ferrari are?

      • Well the Italians have never forgiven the Brits over the defence of Malta in WW2 (Three Gloster Galdiators v the entire Italian airforce - guess who won? (Clue - it wasn't the Italians)).

And Mosely is of course the son of Oswald Mosely the former leader of the UK facist party between the wars - so I don't suppose he's exactly an Anglophile either.

In reality the Italians are poor losers at just about any sport - you only have to watch their football team to understand that. They're OK whilst they can turn on the style, but once they come under a bit of pressure they start whinging and diving like a bunch of girls. Why should F1 be any different??
