Hamilton threatens to quit!! Any thoughts?

Can't say I blame him. F1 doesn't seem to be the place for racers anymore.

Lewis, keep your head up high. You have bought the "sport" back to F1 and won back the fans that were getting bored with it, me included. If F1 can't handle that then more fool them.

lets hope it doesn't come to that. Fingers crossed.

    Good luck

    • how can you say hamilton hasnt done his rookie bit properly i dont understand you dont do a half good job just because your new "oh i better slow down and not take pole cos this is my first year" #$%$ what ever you do in life wether you clean loos or are a pro driver you give 100% it just so happens that that is what hamiton has done given 100% and dont even go there with the hamilton fan club thing i have a varity of drivers i like to see do well from all different countries

    • It is the best thing for Hamilton, McLaren and F1 in General. Albeit he has won races, Hamilton shows no respect for anyone in F1 and when he has done a proper apprentceship in F1 then perhaps we can take him seriously. He has caused much unrest in the sport to date.

      • You are right eddie608326, he has upset a lot of people by winning!

And what, as I'm sure you must have thought about it before posting, does "a proper apprenticship in F1" consist of for gods sake?

From what I have noticed he has learned to be a bit more selfish a bit more ruthless and a lot more political.

Alonso can sleep well knowing he has tought him all he knows!

        Good old F1

    • Poor little boy may be he wants his bottle back.

    • well said .there is no need to be calling people racist just because they are not paid up members of the lh fanclub. As you state this is not the place for that sort of carry on.Everybody is entitled to an opinion even if you diagree with it.As for lhs threat to quit it sounds like a little boys tantrum to me.perhaps someone should take him to 1 side and give him a good clip around the ears and tell him to grow up.Or even better let him quit and see how short peoples memories are .

    • What the f**k has colour of a driver's skin got to do with F1...anyone of them could be purple with yellow spots for all I care...it's the driving that matters and it is healthy for everyone to have their favourites and argue on here as to who is best...let's keep ALL references to colour off here, it's not the place for it

    • And how am I being racist, Mr Chuckles.
The nail has been hit on the head methinks.

    • Get your racist #$%$ out of here & go see a shrink. You need help laddie!!

    • I don't know if the Mclaren team is the target or Lewis is but since he joined the sport and has been winning there has been so much #$%$ brought up, when Micheal Sch had the title and was winning none of the #$%$ came up, even alonso absolutely clueless and such a bad loser, a kid beats u hands down and u moan about everybody, i hope F1 management get the blame for him not winning tommorrow and I hope he doesn't crash into Lewis too or pay someone to do so cos he's so jelaous it's possible. Lewis keep up the good work it's not wrong to succeed if you are black.

      • LH is clearly a stirrer but then comes on TV with his "I'm just an innocent rookie" act. C'mon guys we've all known kids behave this way. And you don't need to be a rocket scientist to realise that he must have been favoured by the team - even if not intentionally - but simply cos he's been there and nurtured by honest dad Ron for 10years, normal parental behaviour. Any outsider coming in would sense it straight off and react to it - again perfectly natural. Which brings me to the question - If LH is not being favoured how do you explain his amazing last gasp pole winning efforts last week and again this week? 0.6sec up on Alonso, something strange going on. LH ain't that good.

    • Are you kidding me? "Brought the sport back to F1"??!?!?! What?!?!
Just to illustrate my point about the hypocrisy, a quote from Hamilton on the BBC:

"If I've been in the wrong, I've been the first to put my hand up, or apologise at least.
And I don't mind being given a penalty but there's been some real strange situations this year where I'm made to look the bad person.
If this is the way it's going to keep going, it's not somewhere I want to be.
I had a good weekend, I didn't put a foot wrong. I didn't do anything to put anyone else in danger.
I just think it's a real shame for the sport. Formula One is supposed to be about hard, fair competition.
That's what I've tried to do this year, just be fair."

Aside from the blatant lying, who does he think he's kidding? What the #$%$ are you going to do after leaving F1, Lewis? You think anyone believes you would leave F1? Is he retarded, or does he think we're retarded? Do you think that the world of F1 would all of the sudden stop after you left with your whinning, and hypocrisy? Well, think again...
