Alonso Spouting His Mouth Of Again

Just read on teletext...Alonso is now saying that Ron Dennis is behind many of the scandals at Mclean....what an idiot...if he has to slag his boss and team off, you would think he would wait until he has left the team...unless he is doing his best to get the sack.
Does anyone know if McLaren could take him out of the car for the last race, I'm not necessary saying they should just wondering if there was a rule that could stop them doing it...if I was them I would suspend him for keep spouting his mouth off to the press...he should keep it in house

    • "I bet Alonso got all the green Jelly Babies taken out at Renault!"

      Very good.

As I've stated over and over... Gonzo Alonso is a POOR CHAMPION.

Well, welcome back to the spitting cauldron that is F1 this year!

      And good point well made.

The thing that worries me about this is that Pedro de la Rosa (test driver) was on the fringe of the unholy Trinity of Coughlin, Stepney and Alonso. Lets just hope, well out on the fringe.

I have never come across a more egotistical sporting personality than Alonso. He acts more like a loosing participant in "Big Brother". Celebrity hey, some people can and others can't. I bet Alonso got all the green Jelly Babies taken out at Renault!

    • I think you have something there Lone Yank...when Nigel Mansell and Ricardo Patrese were driving for Williams, they were finishing 1st and 2nd quite a lot...Damon Hill was the test driver...Mansell was quoted as saying that Hill set the car up and spent more time in the car than he did...so I think you could give a lot of Mansell's success to Hill...TEST DRIVER

    • >>so in reality it's McLaren test drivers that have developed the car that both Alonso and Hamilton are driving

hmmmm...wasn't Hamilton a test driver in the McMe program? That's what I thought I remembered so I looked it up..."(Lewis's 2006 GP2) ... achievements earned him a test driver role with the McLaren F1 team and after impressing team boss Ron Dennis, Lewis has now landed the coveted role of team-mate to Fernando Alonso in the 2007 F1 season." http://www.sportinglife.com/formula1/drivers/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=formula1/07/02/13/manual_114737.html

Hey...I'm newly back to F1 and may be reading something into this that isn't there *but* if credit for the cars goes to the testers & engineers, Hamilton has a claim to some of that credit, n'est pas?

    • He should be sacked. If he wins the title in Brazil, I suggest the team doesn't join in with his celebration, after everything he's said and done against them. He lost the Constructor's championship for them, didn't he?

    • Alonso, the sore loser is possibly trying to get sacked by McLaren.
It would mean that he won't have to pay them for breach of contract.

    • if Mclaren dont giev a car for race to Alonso, he will be free to go to any other team, and contract will be broken.

anyway, let me explpain what Alonso saids about Ron:

Dennis said to a group of British journalists in the paddock at the circuit. “But we weren’t at all fazed about Kimi. We weren’t racing Kimi, we were basically racing Fernando.”

So thats enough for Alonso, he want go out from Mclaren and is trying to break the contract at all cost.

      • i would think ron has the same clause in alonsos contract as montoyas in that he can tell alonso he is not required to race, but he must pay him for the service he hasnt performed to not be in breach of contract

disregardless i think it will take alot more from alonso to get the sack cause ron dennis has had enough to deal with without the major fallout from alonso being sacked and the resultant fia enquiry that alonso is not being treated badly, a point on which they have no authority anyway

      • yeah that quote from dennis is referring to being overtaken by raikonnen. basically if lewis finished the race, raikonnen was out of the championship, so it was obvious they were not racing him. they are now tho for sure.
have no doubts, alonso resigned from mclaren in hungary, either explicitly during thier post qually 'discussion', or implicitly by his actions. the rest is just wrangling over how much its gonna cost and keeping it under wraps for the sponsors.

    • you got it in one. he is trying to get the sack since that would mean maclaren were breaking the contract and have to pay up. (SOP for anyone in a #$%$ job with a better offer.) call it contractural negotiaton. for sure they could sack him any time they wanted, just theyd have to pay him a phenominal amont of money. plus he is backup for the title still.
man can enyone remember when he anounced he was joining mclaren, he said as far as he was concerned maclaren would be his last team.
hope he sticks to his guns on that one.
