    Shut up, Max!

So Max is having his say again and as usual he seems to be describing a Formula 1 he knows but which none of the fans seem to know anything about.
First he is convinced that his cost cutting will attract new manufacturers. Currently I see no evidence of this - in fact we can see at least 2 teams having huge problems, and the only potential new team has decided the rules mean that they can't join.
Also Max has repeated that although Bernie has said that spying was and is part of Formula 1 he thinks he has stopped it. Yeah - right. What Max really means is that when teams other than McLaren have information belonging to another team he will give a smile and say it's OK.
Lastly, he feels that "Hamilton is no Schumacher", and that after one incredibly difficult season for Lewis. The main reason being that Schumacher had very strong team mates. I have to say that I can't think of any team mates who were particularly strong (unlike Hamilton's ex team mate) and if any of them did put up a strong challenge they were immediately told to stop it immediately, move over and let Schumacher win.

OK so maybe that's a bit strong - sorry paddock :-) but I wouldn't like to say how good LH is until he's had at least 2 or 3 years in F1. Most probably nobody will ever beat all or even any of Schumacher's records but I think that is mainly down to how F1 is nowadays rather than down to Schumacher's invincibility.

So, Max, get back to doing what you do best, and invent some more rules so that F1 becomes more and more sterile and the fans more and more alienated..........
