    Flavio says Renault need Piquet

    What a headline.
The rotten b*****s don't say what they need him for - I would say it must be the millions he brought with him.
The only point I do agree with is that Piquet is in a similar situation to Heikki last year and that he could still make a name for himself.
Problem is there are lots of drivers looking for a cockpit at the moment.

    • can the renault get a win at the next round? and will F.A. and N.P. come together as a team and help the renault?

    • Ooops - no - I`m an ordinary Josephine Bloggs, mike. I don`t work in the industry.
Most drivers now are, indeed, paid. The days of pay-per-drive were more obvious when there were a number of struggling back-marker teams.
However, a driver didn`t need to actually pay to drive. Sometimes it was a case of the sponsorship he brought with him.
As to Piquet junior -I don`t know his circumstances, sorry.

    • i am so sorry that kimi said he would sometimes rather go sleep in a tent and drink vodka with his mates than think about F1, but what the hell i was complimenting the guy on his life choices, you seem a little wrapped up in some deluded idea of what support is about.
i tell you what , i wish kimi had as much to say as you do that way i would have weeks of interesting material to read at any time. as it is he says little which again is very much too his credit,,

also i do compliment you on your use of english i could not have this conversation in any other language and i have lived in spain for 8 years ,,
but that aside your views are not my cup of tea so we will leave it there, maybe pick it up when you can listen as loud as you shout.

    • as you have possibly read i hope that hamilton never wins the drivers title,,
i happen to think that with his talent he will win it given the car, and i would expect if he wins it once he will will it at least twice,,
i hope that by then kimi will have quit as i dont see him driving in 3 years time, he seems to have many other thing to do (like drink vodka)..
the fact as i have intimated on many replies here is that while i admire the tifosi for their dedication, but i have to restate that they take it all a bit to heart

    • if you bother reading peoples posts you would see that i withdrew my support of maclaren after many years of following them and followed my driver,, kimi..

it is a simple fact that the most fanatical and biased supporters that i have met in F1 terms both on here or the track at meetings are FERRARI fans,

just remember that what started most of this at the present was the accusation that sutil had some how taken out kimi on sunday, simple equation here..FERRARI WILL ALWAYS (ALMOST) EMPLOY GREAT DRIVERS , GREAT DRIVERS ARE WINNERS , WINNERS ARE RUTHLESS , = CONTROVERSY , PLEASE REFER TO MY ANSWER TO VAL REGARDING DRIVERS BUYING SEATS,,
thank you and have a nice day,,(maybe reading about the buisiness side of F1)
