Best race car driver ever ...

Jim Clark was so smooth. He didn't look fast, because there was no drama behind the wheel. I heard his style described as like watching water trickle from a tap (faucet for our US chums) :)

Other drivers of a similar ilk, were Alain Prost and Damon Hill.

About Graham Hill - didn't he win a number of Monaco GPs?

Keke Rosberg could hustle a really bad car round a track. It's that Finnish thing.

The great US oval track drivers are in a class of their own. Not many made the transition to F1 easily. Of those that tried that is.

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned Juan Fangio or Nuvolari. Or Nikki Lauda even.

A lot of great drivers. I couldn't choose just one.
