Can Everton topple Chelsea from top 4.

Dependin on today's result is there a possibility that Everton can make up its place in the top 4 and topple Chelsea out.

Well there is a chance for Liverpool to get out of way too, but i kind of hope that this doesn't happen. In any case the main question remains that

"Can Everton make it to the top 4"

    • simply answer after todays results............NO!!!

was a tall order to get into the top 4. be happy....be very happy with 5th place. considering where everton have finished pre moyes they have punched above their weight the last couple of seasons

    • Everton need to topple Liverpool first then worry about the big 3. I think they're going in the right direction, Arteta, Cahill and Yakubu could all grace the Champs Lge and whilst Benitez is wasting as much money as possible on talentless no hopers to put around there team of Reina, Carragher, Gerrard and Torres then there's hope.

I think there are a number of teams going for that 4th spot next season. You just wonder where the money is going to come from for Everton with a number of rich kids coming. Aston Villa will be a better proposition next year, West Ham must surely get better with the resources they have available and Tottenham under Ramos are going to be good. Everton certainly don't have the financial backing of that lot, can they compete next year?

    • That will be tough to do. Everton still has to play at Anfield and at Emirates - they'll need points from those matches to have a chance. If Chelsea wins today, I'd say no. If Chelsea draws or loses, then possibly but I'd still say no. Everton must beat Chelsea next month (at home no less) to even think that thought.
