    good news

Johngnomore, where are you hearing this? Last I heard is that the FA spokesman admitted Steive G did do a full training session with the squad yesterday, so was looking more likely to be in the team on Saturday, and without medical assistance.

While I personally don't think he should play with the help of a needle, I'm not sure its good news if he does not play. Origianal reports were it would take 2-3 weeks for him to return to play. If he's not ready by Saturday, then his injury maybe worse than orginally stated, or not healing as hoped, as he's not going past the 3 week recovery period.

While from a LFC perspective, we still have over a week before our next match, so time for Stevie to heal, I think its best for all to have a Stevie G who's fighting to play for both club and country.
