    A change of subject

This message is only meant for true LFC fans and if you are not one and wish to comment please do so backed with facts – not assumptions.

Also please do not post “how many EPL have you won”. Please remember that this is not based on domestic success which LFC dominate anyway but also that football started way before the EPL started.

    • explain Everton are not recognised by UEFA........???

I think your cltching at straws...........or are u now admitting to being a cup team............2 for the price of 1 today...hahaha.............awesome..
      going the match are we.....???

    • Sean i think i have to correct you here

first of all it was about the acievements outside the EPL

Second of all to be classed as great you have to be recognised by the FA, UEFA and FIFA. everton are not heard of by the later 2.

as it stands at this current moment LFC are hailed as
6th best in the world for internationally recognised titles and third best in Europe.

until someone else overtakes us we are what you guys dream to be.

tell me something that everton as a football team have done that overhauls LFC

    • I don't think you can go from Once being a great club to not being one can you? The term 'great' can't be shifted around like that can it.

I believe Mila is talking about great european club, and Sean do you really think that we aren't. Five successes including two recent finals in three years I believe means we were and continue to be a great european side. The top european sides fear us out of the hat and hate coming to Anfield. Last year we took Barcelona out amongst others, 05 Juve amongst others.

I appreciate we all want to win the league title, and the length of time we haven't is becoming an heavy cross to bear. However that cross is so heavy because we ARE a great club, and have come to expect success. You'll note that Everton are a big club, but if you win the Uefa cup, or even the worthless cup, you'd be on top of the world....if you go out to Oldham there is barely a Surprise in the FA CUp, and you have absolutely no expectations in the lge. Lets face it Moyes led you to near relegation not long ago, and he was never under pressure. That is because Everton are NOT a great club, and our self imposed and media pressure stems from the fact we ARE!

    • Dont start Mila, Sean is being constructive at the moment (something i didnt think i would actually say a while ago - but was hopefull of it happening)

    • Sean the point of the thread was to change the subject of the clubs current affair in domestic league.

The point of the thread was to show that even in this gloom that the club is in at this moment, LFC is still currently one of the greatest club not just in England but throughout the world - recognised not only by the FA but also by UEFA and FIFA

That my friend is a fact which obviously i dont see that you will understand being an evertonian

i know it hurts you to acknowledge these facts.

anyways how comes you seem to spend more time on the LFC board then on the Everton board?

    • Yeah sorry you must be very possesive about your "thread" I'll go...

But you know...Its people thinking that we're great that part of the problem...We have a great history...Like I said reading that post really did mak me feel great...but history keeps moving farther away...

    • Yeah sorry you must be very possesive about your "thread" I'll go...

But you know...Its people thinking that we're great that part of the problem...We have a great history...Like I said reading that post really did mak me feel great...but history keeps moving farther away...

    • Dhruv, like i said its a change of subject - you obviously don't understand.

I suggest you start a new thread based on the current state of our club.

This thread is about the current state of our beloved club outside england.

This about our achievements recognized by the world of International football

Please if you don't understand then like i said start a new thread

    • Pardon us for caring about the PRESENT state of our beloved football club...You obviously dont care...

    • What schools did you guys go?

The title of the thread was "a change of subject" which means that it will not be based on our form domestically. this means that the thread is not on, league run, not based of FA cup, not based on Carling Cup, Not based on our defeat by Barnsley.

It is as the thread says - A CHANGE OF SUBJECT

How hard is that to understand?

I changed the topic from doom and gloom to what our club is recognised by international football

Nothing to do with domestic issues
