    time up rafa

While I think Dalglish wouldn't be the right choice - I think the statement of 'half-witted' is a bit strong considering he's the only player/manager ever to win the double.

Although the year we did that Everton were both runners-up and beaten finalists - so I suppose thats where the bitterness comes from...still concentrating on our failures eh? Good draw at home to Wolves today - congratulations

    • no, not rreally.

what has dalglish done in management ? with his team, he built, not someone elses. nothing. why isn't he doing something in management now ?

by the way, dalglish only won the double because Joe Fagin resigned in disgust over Heysel, and dalglish took over HIS team. And, the league was only won on the last day of the season by 2 points over Everton.

The following season was trophy-less as Liverpool lost their league title to Everton, lost to Arsenal in the League Cup final and were knocked out of the FA Cup by underdogs Luton Town. Over a 15 year period, it was only the third time the Reds had ended the season without winning either the league title or one of the domestic or European cups.

bring in johnny barnes. . . . . . with kenny as director of football. hahahahahah
