    GUSS HIDDINK 4 Liverpool

    O'Neill, Jol, Hiddink.

Those names command TOTAL respect from the players. They are most likely to get the best of of a bad bunch. And believe me, we have a BAD bunch. After 6 years we have the most weakened team in years. The reason why they are weak is they have no strength behind them ie Rafa. We'd be doing a lot better with one of those 3 in charge

    • How many premier league titles have these managers won? then why would they do any better? La liga and serie a are the only comparable leagues of which rafa has won one of them. He should only, if at all be replaced by someone with a proven top division pedigree.

      • HOBITEZ...How many EPL titles has Benitez won and now hes in his 6th season with us ? cONSIDER THE THREE NAMES PROPOSED AND THEN CONSIDER GIVING THEM THE EQUIVALENT TRANSFER FUNDS BENITEZ HAD TO SPEND AND THEN GIVE ANY ONE OF THEM 6 SEASONS TO PRODUCE THE GOODS ...THINK WE MIGHT JUST HAVE THAT ELUSIVE 19TH TITLE ? Then again spose youd rather like DSTEER AND OTHERS ON THIS BOARD PREFER TO CONTINUE to make excuses for this inept clown that u accept as our manager.

      • Haven't we already been employing supposed managers with this type of pedigree for the last nineteen years? I'm sick of it. The managers I've put up haven't had the luxury of managing a huge club. This is just the challenge they need to progress.

So explain how Rafa got this 'pedigree'? Did he start his managerial career with league titles under his belt ?;)

    • Just curious on how you get to such a sad verdict on our club. Basically over the summer we lost 2 players from the first team, Alonso and Arbeloa. They were replaced with Aqualani and Johnson.

Now most, but maybe you disagree, think Johnson is an improvement over Arbeloa, while the jury is still out on Aqualani as he's just not featured enough to really get a good comparison yet.

So basically by removing 1 player we've gone from 2nd best in the prem, and accumulating enough points to have won the prem in the majority of years the prem has been in existence to being the weakest Liverpool side in years.

I did think Alonso was a very good player, and I really felt we'd miss him, but do you really credit him that much?
