    Did someone mention 76 points?

I can't believe that the apathy shown is going to change under Hodgson. I just wonder how long its going to take for the powers that be to recognise this.

    • Imran, we'd have to think or hope that the board along with Henry and his people are examining this very closely as we speak. Henry said he wouldn't be attending the game because he preferred to make his debut at Anfield with the home supporters, but I'd imagine after speaking to people around the club, coming to understand what the Merseyside Derby was all about and the importance, he stayed in England to partake..(Roy, with those tactics, having his team come out like that in front of the owners and board today would be like getting to your first day at work 2 hours late and then spilling hot coffee on your boss' lap..)

I'd have to think after learning about the derby, and actually experiencing it firsthand, and then seeing that limp, lifeless performance he's probably already got an itch to get things going in a winning direction. He's very familiar with a fierce rivalry similar to this in the states with the Red Sox v Yankees, and winning, if not a fight to the end is expected, nothing less..

      This nightmare can't continue..

      • This actually goes back to the FC Rabotnicki game at Anfield. I saw the 'This Is Anfield' on LFC TV and the level of play was completely ignored by those calling in (remember how they hit the post & nearly scored with other attacks) with some enlightened soul calling Hodgson 'the new Bob Paisley'! I tried to call in & ask what the hell was the matter with everyone.

You're right tho, if the history of the Red Sox shows anything its that this will not be allowed to continue. I only think about Chelsea with Scolari & how it took a while to get him out of the club.

    • The way Torres is being treated & scapegoated under Hodgson I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in January .

      • Could we really begrudge him either?

The amount of goals he's scored and produced the past 4 years have been an inspiration, and he's given his heart for the Reds. They need to reciprocate back, he deserves to win something, especially considering the hard work he puts in and the damage/injuries he experiences playing alone with such sh-t service..

I became a Liverpool fan because of Gerrard and Owen, but having known about Torres with Atletico and his move to Anfield was incredible. Just thinking of him leaving makes me sick..
