I certainly can argue with those comments Armchair. All true. For benitez is definitely not the answer. take away the Champions League and he didn't deliver much either, except and expensive wage bill and a rather large squad. I really don't like the way he conducted himslef with the press either. Far too many rumours and stories in the press for my liking.
We need someone completely new, someone who can grab the club and take it forward as a new entity. That doesn't have to be a new manager but soomeone who will get a grip of the club as a whole and give it a clear direction.
There's no point in talking about a change in managers right now, or any of this care taker nonsense. Jamie Carragher is not taking over, nor is Steven Gerrard nor is anyone. This is Kenny's job right now, it's his team and it's his mess to get sorted..
All final judgement will be reserved and be made after the last game, a loss at Liberty stadium vs Swans (sorry had to). They will sit down, review where the club has finished at that point and on what note, and I would expect Kenny to be the stand up man he's been and accept what is said, good or bad.
One thing is for certain, whatever money is spent, and at this point it's looking like more and more each week, will have to be absolutely spot on and I think needs to be made strictly on top class players, not "this" and "that"..
At the end of the day, John Henry may love or come to truly love this club and this sport, but it remains an investment and a business for him, so he has every right and every vested interest in saying and doing what is necessary to see it succeed on the pitch so it matters most where he cares equally as much, off it.

Yes I agree and I've never said get rid of Kenny. I'm saying that there needs to be someone somewhere in the club to get the place up to date and working together in the right direction.
The team plays in one particular way. Players ar e bought in that fit that system and play where they're supposed to rather than filling in somewhere in attempt to get some balance. The youth system fits in with the system rather than being a bolt on thing on the side. We get a new stadium!
