Time for FSG to come out....

    .....in support of Kenny.

I think that if they do that, some of the players who may believe he won't be there next season might just buck their ideas up and get their attitudes on track once again. A lot of them owe Kenny for the support he has given them this season. The only time I have heard him criticise was after the Bolton game.

Also, it may silence some of the more vocal critics, because despite everything, pressure builds if you listen to phone-ins etc.

FSG should make it clear that Kenny will be there next season to continue the plan to get us back to the top.

    • I think they should say what their intentions are?
      Sack or keep KD?

      • That's ridiculous.. can you name off the top of your head, the last time you heard an owner or chairman come out and say they plan to sack their manager in those exact words, not hints or sidestepping?

They would NEVER do that. He may get sacked or asked to leave, or he may be given full backing, but nothing is going to happen until the season is over, it's not contingent upon the FA Cup..

Regardless of the opinions here on the blogs or elsewhere, it's in the dressing room and around the stadiums that count, and just removing him with 6 matches to go, would just send everyone and everything into complete meltdown.. Do you think Clarke would magically have them win out, playing champagne football, or should Stevie and Jamie just take turns?

        Summer..

    • Not with you at all! Its the infamous kiss of death for struggling managers for the board to come out with open support. All they need do is offer him support personally. The only thing the owners need do is make a public statement at the end of the season and before the next one, the time for talking from people who cant directly influence the team is not now.

    • Ya lets see what happens Armchair, Just read that KD has to submit a written report to the owners. Heres a report card i saw online someone put up haha KD can use this as template, if LFC season was to be summarised like a school report card

Performance has been a problem, We failed too many examinations and its not acceptable in any ways. But we have plan to return the club to its glory days. We just need wee bit more investment, Another 110 million pounds.Damien is in talks with the Libiyans to secure plutonium necessary to generate the 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity needed to travel back to the glory days of the 1980s.

      Sincerely,
      Kenneth Dalglish

    • I believe they are waiting to see if he delivers the FA Cup. If not he will be asked to go or be sacked. The Carling cup alone will not save him. Relegation worries are gone, europa is guaranteed and so nothing will be said or done until the end of the season. Poor PR re Suarez along with big spending on poor performing players will also come into the reckoning.

    • If they havent said anything so far then i doubt they will say anything now and wait until end of the season to make decision on which player stays or go and even the manager. SOmeone said here that FSG are waiting to see how we do in the FA cup. I agree with that, Which in my opinion is fair enough.
Because coming out and backing the manager who has not lived upto expectation this season is dumb.

    • Well with Henry & Werner in town .. That doesn't bode well for KD..

Suppose we will find out what'll happen... Little point in speculating..
