F*ckers - now they really need to prove themselves

They better give a sh*t-load of dosh to the new guy otherwise we'll be all having the same conversation next year.

A precis of their ownership so far:

    1) 34 mil spent net - NOT ENOUGH
    2) 2 managers - lets turn it in to Chelsea shall we?
    3) NO goddam promised stadium

I can understand why they've shipped out half the management, the league results were b*llocks even though most of the performances were good, but it's time to pay the piper FSG. I want (probably sounding as unrealistic and crazy as Armchair!)

    1) £50 mil transfer plus sales
    2) A f*cking 65,000 seater stadium (plus expansion) which we will be ready within 3 years at most
    3) Not Villas-Boas. One of the German coaches: Joachim Low, Jurgen Klopp. Maybe even make a phone call to Guardiola see if he's bored yet.

If they don't comply with my demands, I am going to kidnap every person living in the Boston area, and blast them all in to outer space in a rocket headed for the Sun with no food and water!

    Sons of a thousand fathers!

    • Obviously they want value for money LFC is a business to them.. Emotion doesn't come into it.

      FSG are only after results...

    • Even worse...conviscate their cell 'phones!

Precis of the Manager so far

      *Results NOT good enough*
      *worst results since the 50's*
*more arrogant than The Fat Waiter*

Forget it was Dogleash, for a minute............

.............now ask yaself, was the manager good enough......

    • A shitload of cash???

What planet are you from you bleedin fruit loop?

All we need is a good manager with a knowledge of the modern game. We have got plenty of decent players, we just need to get a skilled scouting system, and a manager who knows how to manage.

Lets hope for strong leadership in appointing the right man... and a new dawn!

      • This from a person whose cheap government funded Scotland Road sh*thole allows him to 'go to the game'

What decent wingers do we have?
What 25 goal striker do we have?
Where's - aside from Stevie - is our creative midfielder?

Pound for pound with the 10 minutes of MOTD you see every week, is our squad as good as those who made the top four, and even Chelsea?

    • cheer up mate !
this just opens up a chance to move forward

    • Loki, I partially agree with you, yes, FSG has to be blamed for not doing enough, but we have to recognize that some very bad decisions had been made:

      - Appointment of inexperienced/unsuccessful KD
      - Who signed Carroll? Henderson? Adams? Downing?...

KD's firing is a step in the right direction, but I am also sure that FSG is taking a good look at what they have done wrong, and as good businessmen they are, they will take corrective action to protect their investment.

They know about the new players failures, and they know that just changing the manager will not be enough, so I expect a good squad shake up.

To FSG's eyes City is the successful model, I hope that they follow the same path.

    • Just a piece of my mind - No decision would have been the worst situation so I am glad action was taken quickly. I feel very sorry for Daglish, a better performance in the first 50 minutes of the FA cup final and he probably gets their backing. I think he should have been offered a back room role and allowed to step down gracefully. To the credit of FSG I think the timing of this (just after the England squad announced) was intended to stem the media frenzy. However imo he could have been fired for the way the Suarez incident was handled alone. Kenny had a great impact when he came back, but the club hasn't seemed like a positive place for a while, hopefully a new manager will get that energy back. No clear-out though, and no change in philosophy keep building on what we have.

    • on the contrary, I think FSG are proving themselves by what has happened so far this year.....if its not good enough, then its definitely not good enough to give it another year. I think these guys are polished...but ruthless...bye bye Damien et al and sorry Kenny but we dont think we're going anywhere in terms of performances on or off the pitch. I happen to think that this lot do know what they are doing, and I think that it wont be very long before we start punching our weight again......Champs? no, not for a few years but at least we'll be in the "hunt" again, Top 4, FA Cup, Carling Cup, and back in the Champions Cup Competition again. Anyway this news (which was anticipated) will really set the "chattering classes" a'buzzin' and I quiver with anticipation to see at least 10,001 words penned by Dave Steer before midnight!
