    • Cole was tried in that position in an early Europa League game last year from memory. He looked clueless.

Left back (in the dressing room) sadly for me but I can understand the need to use the squad for tomorrows game and lets be honest we need to get Cole in the shop window for January.

I'd like to see Morgan get a start and perhaps yesil too if he's ready. Assaidi as well, again if he's ready.

      Some tough decisions for Rodgers

    • I think I may have contradicted myself slightly saying how important the game was and then naming half the under 21's in my squad! I agree with Colin's sentiments that these guys will always be unproven until given a chance to prove themselves, I hope BR is true to his word and lets these guys see if they can claim one of the attacking spots for there own like Sterling seems to have already done. The reason I put so many in is because I really couldn't decide between Ngoo, Morgan, Yessil or Pacheco (the later would perhaps fill a different role though). Maybe even Suso can do a job in an attacking role. Who would want to be manager eh! Your quite right, in reality we will start with more proven players, likely Borini and Assadi, although i'm not sure how 'proven' they are.

Re Cole, I think that attcking midfield spot is up for grabs if Gerrard is going to play further back, as on Saturday. Shelvey impressed in flashes but looked wasteful so why not give Cole a go there. Probably better there than on the left these days.

    • The way things are at present, do you think you can beat Young Boys?
