    Team to face Young boys?

Hard to tell if we will be a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-3 or a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 at the moment! I think this one is a must win game in our group but at the same time, Swansea on Sunday is going to be a very tough match for us. Being at home, we can probably afford a few more changes and can have a bit more firepower on the bench or to take off early.

    --------------------------------Jones----------------------------
    ------------Wisdom----Carragher----Coates------------
    Henderson-------Shelvey-------Sahin-------Downing
    -------------Suso----------Suarez--------Assaidi--------

Subs: Reina, Skrtel, Enrique, Gerrard, Cole, Pacheco, Sterling

    • As has already been said this is the start of a big week. I'd put some big names on the bench to save the day if we need them but wouldn't risk starting any, apart from Suso who should have some energy to burn. Apart from the obvious CF issues its the defence that worries me most, but with Wisdom and Enrique now first team regulars this is the best we can put out without risking them.

    • I think you guys might have convinced me to rest up Stevie and Luis, we have definitely given ourselves a bit of a carrot in the league now. Next up are Swansea and Spurs away, 2 tough fixtures but both games give us the opportunity to leapfrog them, defeats will compound our troubles to be fair. Thats a Sunday then a Wendesday night followed by a weekend visit of Southampton. I have a feeling in 10 days we will be really happy or the countdown to January 1st will feel very long......

    • but you never play 4-2-3-1...................do you ?
