  • Lucifer's t*ts who cares about a number? May I ask a question - do you stand in front of a mirror and talk to yourself all day? the reason I ask is because the number of threads in which you answer yourself is quite phenomenal.

    • I just forget to add further things that I feel are relevant..

Anyway here's a comment regarding Sturridge.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has hinted new signing Daniel Sturridge will be given a central striking role at the club.

So that means Suarez will be a wide forward..

      • I just hope that Luis and Dan Sturridge "gel" temperamentaly both on the pitch and in the dressingroom. I'd hate to see Luis go "off the boil" 'cos I believe Dan Sturridge is not exactly renowned for passing to teammates when he's in sight of goal. I'd have been a lot happier with Theo Walcott, but hey...what do I know

      • Sofa, where did you hear this one: "Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has hinted new signing Daniel Sturridge will be given a central striking role at the club."

BR's interview after the Sunderland match would suggest the opposite. Brendan said he thought Sturridge's best position was central, but he was able to play across the front 3, and he would be selected based on the best needs of the club, not the individual.

I'm paraphrasing of course, but the best interests of the club means the best player goes up top. So no deal for Sturridge it would seem to me. He'll get his chances up top, but based on the club's needs, not his.
