  • That is Liverpool FC's record this season under Brendan Rodgers, when scoring 3+ goals, which is an amazing stat. We've also scored 3 or more goals in 4 straight games, which I'd guess without looking hasn't happend since 08/09..

We are on 56 goals w/ a chance of coming close to 70, which based on how we started, and how we finished last season with 47, is also pretty amazing. That said, I still think we need another striker for sure..

The prospects of having a year older, more mature and physically stronger Sterling, Coutinho, (Assaidi) and Suso, to select along with Suarez, Sturridge an evergreen Gerrard, and another addition out wide such as Tom Ince or a Gaston Ramirez, will only make this get better. If we can make good additions in the middle and at the back, we will resemble a true top 4 side, and one that can slug it out with anyone at the top, and challenge in all competitions

I am thoroughly enjoying our style of football (today was poor at the back and in the middle), our attacking style, free flowing goal scoring and truly look forward to every single match with enthusiasm, and an expectation to take 3 points, while scoring some goals for fun.

We're miles from the finished article, but when you think about that, what we need, and what we look like on paper vs those we're chasing, it's quite an achievement for this group and a new manager.
