The ongoing progress of Andy Carrol

superb. he tore vidic & rio apart! they couldnt handle the big man. he even made a great last ditch tackle to deny a utd winner. i think u should keep him. he gives u something different. once he gets playing regularly he is a good player. not amazing or on the level of suarez. but a good player. sturridge is good but can be flaky. u need 4 strikers so why not keep all 3. borini will never be good enough for u guys. also if suarez got injured then u would be very light upfront. ps. love watching coutinho. thought he was an odd signing but he has been very good.

    • I agree with your assessment of Andy Carroll. We should keep him, but its Brendan No-Brain what calls the shots.

    • To...A YAHOO USER...good post mate your assessment of Andy's talent is spot on he has had his detractors at our club ever since he arrived and he arrived carrying injuries but hes certainly starting to show his true ability now with five goals in last seven outings. No goal last night but still voted MoM for his effort throughout the match turning Ferdinand and Vidic inside out ! Agree 100% with u about Couhtino and also agree Sturridge is flaky not to be relied upon, hardly what Id call a natural talent but ok coming off the bench and as for Borini as u say never be good enough for us shouldnt have been bought a bad decision by Rogers as was Allen and now he wants 12 mill to bring in a 28 yr old average sort of player from Swansea ( yet again ) in Williams...dont want him average player in a very average mid table team.
