A perfect response from the Reds

Proud of the lads. No quit in these Liverpool men.Nine more matches until we get our striker back, and the BIASED DISGRACEFUL FA can go straight to hell. I do feel bad for Newcastle....who are a decent side and certainly not as bad as this scoreline. But an excellent response from the men in red.

    • Just the tonic we needed after a rough week. No Suarez but no need to worry on the goals front. For me it shows how well the system is working, so credit to BR and all the lads for a great team effort. But especially big praise for Coutinho who really pulled the strings. Really a shame he did not get on the score sheet, but think it was clear to everyone he was man of the match.

    • Excellent result just what we needed.. However why are Yahoo in their headlines calling it a "appalling" Newcastle.. rather than a "clinical and classy display by LFC"?

    • I never thought we'd do that. Some days it seems everything goes our way while on others we couldn't hit the side of a bus from two yards. Cracking response all the same.

On your Suarez point. I haven't got much issue with the 10 games when I see he was given 8 games in Holland for the same offence. Where it does gripe me is that the punishment is completely out of sorts with other issues some of which are potential career enders or at the very least a lengthy lay off. Then there's those issues that are deemed to have been dealt with because the referee saw it.
